Andorra

Andorra is a landlocked mountainous Principality bordered by both France and Spain in the eastern Pyrenees.  As a monarchy it is headed by two “co-princes” – the Spanish Bishop of Urgell and the President of France. Its capital, Andorra la Vella, is the highest capital city in Europe, at an elevation of 1,023 metres (3,356 ft). The official language is Catalan.

Skiing is available in two ski areas; Grandvalira and Vallnord. Granvalira is the larger of the two ski areas and links the resorts of Soldeu, El Tarter, Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Canillo and Encamp. Vallnord, the smaller ski area, comprises the resorts of Arinsal, Pal, and Ordino-Arcalis.
