In the 2016/2017 winter season, St. Anton am Arlberg/St. Christoph/Stuben and Lech/Zürs/Warth/Schröcken combined to form the Ski Arlberg ski resort.
For skiing and snowboarding, there are 305 km of slopes and 200 km of ski routes available.
The village is set at a modest altitude of 1,450m, but each year it receives up to double the amount of snow of some of its French rivals.
Linked Warth-Schröcken lays claim to the title of snowiest ski area in the Alps, with an extraordinary average of 10.6m each winter.
