Sunshine Village
The ski resort Sunshine Village is located at Banff & Lake Louise (Canada, Alberta, Alberta's Rockies). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 109 km of slopes available. 10 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,660 and 2,730 m.
The winter sports resort of Sunshine Village is located in the heart of Banff National Park and is only 15 minutes away from Banff. A gondola lift takes you from the base up to Sunshine Village at 2160 m elevation. There are slopes for every ability level as well as nice snowparks. While skiing, you can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The Sunshine Village ski resort is in the Province of Alberta, but it is possible to see part of British Columbia Province from the top of Lookout Mountain. Thanks to plenty of natural snow, the season usually goes from the beginning of November until the end of May.
